Make sure you do this when the motor is cold.
Remove the seat and airbox plastic


Remove the airbox and filter
10mm bolts on the airbox, 8mm bolts on the carbs



Remove the inspection plug
I used a straight screwdriver bit in a socket for leverage.


Remove the logo cover



Unbolt the battery and move it out of the way


Rotate the crankshaft counterclockwise and look through the inspection plug


This is what  you're looking for to do the front valves



This is what you're looking for to do the rear valves


 This is the rear intake.
If the feeler doesn't go or if its too loose then it will have to be adjusted.


Loosen the locknut with a 10mm wrench


Either tighten or loosen the adjusting screw until there is a slight drag on the feeler gauge
Intake valve clearance is between 0.10 - 0.15 MM


Hold the adjustment screw in place while tightening the locknut
Check again with the feeler gauge to make sure the setting is still correct


Add a little grease to the O-ring to seal it

Front exhaust valves


Exhaust valves are between 0.20 - .25 MM
