Remove the airbox cover, black plastic trim piece and clutch cover snorkel
Start it up and let it idle until it reaches operating temperature.
Insert the vacuum probes into the nipples on the manifolds
Mount the gauges where you can see them
I clamped mine on the bars with a bungee cord.
If the needles flutter lightly adjust the valves until they stop
If the readings are not identical you will need to make adjustments
Remove the plastic trim to get at the adjustment screw
The adjustment screw (center of picture) sits between the carbs on the left side of the quad
Use a screwdriver with an extension to turn the adjustment screw until the readings are equal
You are NOT looking for a particular number, you are looking for identical readings on each carb
When the readings are equal then the carbs are synched.
