If possible, leave the seat and cover out in the sun for a few hours to make them more pliable.
Use an electric staple gun if you can get one.
Pull the cover tight at the top and put a couple of staples in to hold it in place.
Slowly pull the cover tight all the way down to the middle of the seat.
Put a couple of staples in the middle.
Work your way towards the end pulling the cover tight as you go.
Put a couple more staples 3/4 of the way down.
Pull the end as tight as you can and place a staple in the middle.
Work your way back up pulling each side tight.
Space the staples fairly far apart at first so if you need to remove them
later for adjustments, you won't have as many to remove.
Get a good grip and pull each side tight before you place each staple.
Work you way back up to the top, keep spacing out your staples.
Once you've got everything the way you want it, go back and fill in the gaps with staples.
Fold your corners over and hold them in place with a couple of staples.
Once you've got all your staples in place, go back and trim the cover.
As good as any pro could do.
